Тиазидные диуретики снижают скорость выведения мочевой кислоты. Гиперурикемия встречается часто, но обычно протекает бессимптомно и редко приводит к клинической подагре исключением пациентов с подагрой и хронической почечной недостаточностью. Терапии с тиазидными диуретиками следует вводить с осторожностью в таких больных.
