Использование циклоспорина противопоказано у пациентов с ревматоидным артритом или псориазом с ненормальным почечной функции. Циклоспорин вызывает обратимое снижение почечного кровотока и скорости клубочковой фильтрации в результате увеличения уровня креатинина и азота мочевины крови. Мягкий нефротоксичности, как правило, реагирует на снижение дозы циклоспорина. Настойчивый, хронический и прогрессивный нефротоксичности произошло. Биоптатах почек у этих пациентов может продемонстрировать интерстициальный фиброз, атрофии канальцев, глобальный и сегментарный гломерулосклероз, или гладкой повреждения сосудистой мышцы. Больших кумулятивных дозах или повышенных уровней циклоспорина корыто может быть связано с развитием интерстициального фиброза. Клинический мониторинг функции почек необходима и дифференциация между циклоспорин-индуцированной нефротоксичности, отторжение трансплантата и другие причины нарушения почечной функции должны быть определены до циклоспорин корректировки дозировки.
