Холинолитики противопоказаны у пациентов с обструктивными заболеваниями, таких как ахалазия, стриктура пищевода или стеноза пилородуоденального стеноза, стенозирующая язвенная болезнь желудка, пилорического обструкции, и паралитическая кишечная непроходимость. Холинолитики могут еще больше подавить перистальтику кишечника, что приводит осадков или обострение токсического мегаколон.
