Пациенты с болезнью Аддисона могут иметь повышенный риск угнетения дыхания и длительное угнетение ЦНС, связанных с употреблением наркотических (опиоидных) средств обезболивающим. Наоборот, эти агенты могут вызвать или потенцировать надпочечниковой недостаточности. Терапии с опиоидами следует вводить осторожно и начато в низких дозах у больных с адренокортикальной недостаточностью. Последующие дозы следует титровать на основе индивидуальной реакции, а не фиксированному графику дозирования.
