Азатиоприн может вызвать серьезные лейкопения, тромбоцитопения, макроцитарная анемия, выраженная депрессия костного мозга и, реже, парциальная красноклеточная аплазия. Терапии с Азатиоприн применяют с осторожностью в пациентах с костного депрессии. Гематологической токсичности являются дозозависимыми. Рекомендуется соблюдать осторожность и регулярный мониторинг крови и тромбоцитов. Пациенты должны сообщать о любых необычных кровотечение или кровоподтеки.
