Длительное применение ингаляционных кортикостероидов может быть связано со снижением плотности костной ткани. Этот эффект, как представляется, дозы и поступало, прежде всего, с высокой дозы (>= 800 мкг/сут беклометазона или эквивалент для >= 1 год). Снижение уровня общего кальция тело также было продемонстрировано у пациентов, получавших более низкие дозы. Длительной терапии ингаляционных и назальных кортикостероидов следует назначать с осторожностью у пациентов с остеопорозом. Важно, что рекомендуемые дозы отдельных продуктов не должно быть превышено и что низкой эффективной дозе использоваться.
