Дозозависимое снижение в сыворотке крови уровня гемоглобина и гематокрита наблюдались у пациентов, получавших нестероидные противовоспалительные препараты (НПВП). Анемия сообщалось, иногда. Механизм может включать НПВП-индуцированной задержки жидкости или кишечной потери крови, или неполно описана эффект на эритропоэз. Уменьшение концентрации гемоглобина, как правило, должна быть небольшой с средней дозы, но может превышать 1 г/дл, когда давали большие дозы, такие как те, которые используются для лечения остеоартрита или ревматоидного артрита. Хотя эти эффекты, как правило, не имеет клинического значения в остальном здоровых людей, они могут применяться у пациентов с предшествующей анемии или значительной кровопотери. Терапия с НПВП следует назначать с осторожностью в больных или предрасположенных к анемии. Клинический мониторинг функции кроветворения может быть целесообразным, особенно при хронической терапии.
