При проверке взаимодействия по данным авторитетных источников Drugs.com, Rxlist.com, Webmd.com, Medscape.com обнаружены противопоказания или побочные эффекты, которые могут нанести вред или усилить негативный эффект при использовании лекарства с данным сопутствующим заболеванием.

Калийсберегающими диуретиками может привести к гиперкалиемии, которая может привести к угрожающих жизни сердечных аритмий. Пациенты с сахарным диабетом, с или без нефропатии, могут быть особенно подвержены эффекту повышен уровень этих препаратов из-за дефекта в ренин-ангиотензин-альдостероновой оси. Терапию с калийсберегающими диуретиками следует избегать, если это возможно, у пациентов с сахарным диабетом, особенно неконтролируемая или инсулинозависимый. Если эти препараты используются, уровни калия в сыворотке и функцию почек следует контролировать через регулярные промежутки времени. Определение электролитов в сыворотке крови особенно важно в начале терапии, после коррекции дозы, а во время болезни, которые могут изменять функции почек.

Тиазидные диуретики могут привести к гипергликемии и глюкозурии у пациентов с сахарным диабетом. Они могут также осадок сахарного диабета у больных преддиабетом. Эти эффекты обычно обратимы после прекращения приема лекарства. Терапии с тиазидными диуретиками следует вводить с осторожностью в больных с сахарным диабетом, нарушение толерантности к глюкозе или предрасположенность к гипергликемии. Пациенты с сахарным диабетом должны более тщательно контролироваться во время тиазидные терапии, и их режим противодиабетических соответствующим образом скорректированы.
