Амиодарон ингибируют периферическое преобразование тироксина (Т4) в трийодтиронин (Т3), а также способствует неорганического йода, что может привести к изменению функциональных тестов щитовидной железы, гипотиреоз или гипертиреоз. Терапия амиодароном следует назначать с осторожностью у пациентов с дисфункцией щитовидной железы. Рекомендуется клинический мониторинг, включая базовые и периодическая оценка функции щитовидной железы. Изменение щитовидной железы может потребоваться лечение.
